We’re proud to having established a collaboration with Rolling Dojo in Dry Drayton, Cambridge. Tōukon’s very own Mark Badham will be running the Jiu Jitsu classes for both children and adults. Mark provides an exemplary illustration of the very best of the Tōukon Academy. His commitment to training, drive to further our sport through the various responsibilities he takes on and his never ending enthusiasm to compete and represent is outstanding. Everyone at the academy has a tremendous amount of time for Mark and is extremely proud and excited that he is able to continue his efforts and represent himself and the team with this new partnership in Cambridgeshire.
Our relationship with Kraken Submission Grappling began mid-way through 2017 after head coach Mark Tomlinson came to train at the Tōukon Academy. An exceptional grappler with skills far beyond his blue belt level, Mark is largely self-taught and has an excellent understanding of Jiu-Jitsu, especially its no-Gi application. The Tōukon Academy is proud to be associated with Kraken Submission Grappling and wholeheartedly supports Mark's efforts in spreading the science of Jiu-Jitsu in and around Ely, Cambridgeshire.
